# Add a TRON deposit address

> Requests a TRON deposit address and initializes a missing TRON cash group. Poll the wallet for readiness. Existing allocations are preserved.

Request a TRON address for an existing Portfolio Wallet. The response returns HTTP 202 with `chain` and `status`. Poll [Get a wallet](/api-reference/get-wallet) for `tronAddressProvisioning.status: "ready"` and use the matching `depositAddresses` entry before depositing. See [Deposits](/docs/portfolio-wallets/deposits#add-a-tron-address) for the full flow.
